Being SINGLE

Ok! Lets have a look at a very interesting and relevant topic - being sinlge. There is always a time in our lives when we are single. After a break-up, a divorce.. And in many cases it's our intentional chocie to be single.

But does single necessarily mean bad? Or even unhappy & miserable? No, no & no!!! I would rather state it as being free and available, being open to new experiences. If  you are a confident and successful woman, you don't always need a man to prove that you have it all. If we take a look at our lives and ask the question: "Have all my boyfriends been worthy?", almost every gal would say no. Sometimes we date people just to put a tick under the box "in a relationship". But why do we do that? Why do we have to prove anything to anyone? Of course, you are thirty aand the society expects you to be married and have kids but what if your time still hasn't come? What if your 'prince' is still waiting for you? I truly think that rushing a relationship (especially a marriage) is unnecessary. We all find our soulmate at a different time and age. Someone meets the love of their lives in high school, others in college. Then why is it wrong to find your one and only while you're in your thirties, forties, etc? I don't understand the constant rush in life.. Yes, I get it, life is short but I'm not going to wine and complain if I still haven't met that special person. After all, we're all different. And everyone has their own story. To be honest, I find being single as a good thing righ now. I'm in my twenties, I'm young, full of life, I have wonderful friends, I can go out on dates, I can party with my girlfriends! A single girl's life is exciting. I know there will be a moment in life when I'll think about marriage and kids but right now I'm perfectly satisfied with my life!!! Single ladies rule :)

Don't want to sound selfish BUT

And if my guy is out there somewhere, I just want to let him know that I'm fine! We will meet someday in the future...

XOXO
